Circular bronze-colored medal suspended from pin-back bar;
bar engraved "SEPTMBER 18, 1912", obverse of medal inscribed "THE
LIFE SAVING BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK/INCORPORATED 1849"; reverse
inscribed "VITA FELICIBUS AUSIS SERVATA / AWARDED TO BESSIE O'NEILL /
FOR SAVING / HUMAN LIFE / IN PERIL"
