This is a circa late 1910s advertising ash tray from Clay-Adams Company of New York City, a medical supplier. The ash tray is a small, life-like skull illustrating their trade: "skeletons, skulls, charts, manikins, surgical and laboratory instruments and supplies". Clay-Adams started up in 1916.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1910s.
SIZE:Approximately 3" in width and 3" in height and 4-1/8" in depth.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plaster of Paris.
