ARTIFACT:

This is a 1910s-1920s YWCA lapel pin. Originally christened as the Ladies' Christian Association, the initials YWCA were used eight years later in 186The pin is a triangle enameled in blue and black. The reverse reads: "BENNETT MFG. CO. N. Y."

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass and enamel

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop in swivel locking catch
