ARTIFACT: This is a 1906 celluloid pin from Boston for the 5th Regiment of Infantry, Massachusetts Volunteer Militia. The pin references Ottawa and shows the Canadian flag, so this pin may have been to commemorate a muster in that province.

VINTAGE: Circa 1906.

SIZE: 1" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin with paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: EHRMAN MFG. CO. BOSTON at bottom of pin; MADE BY EHRMAN MFG. CO. BOSTON, MASS. FACTORY MILFORD, N.H. on reverse.
