This is a Great 1890's UDC United Daughters of the Confederacy Southern Cross of Honor Named to Dr. D.J. Joseph Simpson 3rd Regiment South Carolina Volunteers. The Southern Cross of Honor was a commemorative medal established in 1899 by the United Daughters of the Confederacy to honor Confederate Veterans. Come with 7 pages copy of the ancestry research of Dr. D.J. Simpson and 13 pages copy of the History of the 3rd South Carolina Infantry Regiment in the Civil War.
