1890s-Early 1900s Austrian Cold Painted Bronze & Marble Arab Sentry Cuff Link Tray

This is a circa 1890s or early 1900s cuff link tray in Austrian cold painted bronze and marble. The beautiful maroon and cream marble base is adorned with a lone Arab sentry sitting with his rifle. The cold painted technique involved color application to Viennese cast pieces that did not undergo firing.

Circa 1890s or early 1900s.

Approximately 4" in width, 5-1/8" in length and 3-1/8" in height.

Bronze with painted details, marble.

Sentry is screwed into base.
