1880's Passaic, New Jersey Fire Department Howe Steam Fire Engine No. 4 Badge is plated brass, in the shape of a helmet plate with a textured center and features a steam engine at the base of the badge, is #'d '253' along the top and reads: "P. F. D. Ð N. J. 4" in the center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880's
SIZE:Approximately 1 7/8" x 1 7/16"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel Ð plated brass
ATTACHMENT:Vertical "T" style pin with scrolling "C" catch
