ARTIFACT: This is an early lapel pin for the League of American Wheelmen, New York State division. This would be worn by their consul. AGE:Circa 1880s-90s.

SIZE: Just under _" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass with a porcelain enameled "dial".

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post for attachment through lapel.

MARKINGS: O'Hara Dial Company, Waltham, MA.

ITEM NOTES: This is a very nice early bicycling item but this is also a very nice example of the work done by the O'Hara watch dial company. It is collected for both these reasons. LAJJX SHEX9/10

CONDITION: Very Fine. There is a faint almost unnoticeable hairline that passes just to the right of the middle of the pin.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
