This is an 1880's Detective badge from the Grannan Detective Bureau of Cincinnati, Ohio. The badge has a delicate zig zag engraved border.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated nickel with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:THIS BADGE IS NOT SOLD TO ANYONE.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge has some small areas of light wear and tarnish, some very small spots of oxidation and some tiny bits of the painted lettering have worn away.
