This is an early dance card for the First Grand Ball of the Buena Vista Hose Company No.1 which took place at the Hiller-Hallock Opera House in Buena Vista, Colorado. The opera house was built in 1882 and is long gone. Inside, one of the dances is dedicated to Company "H", CNG, the Colorado National Guard. Early paper from Colorado is very hard to find, and fire department related even more so.
