This is a circa 1860s or 1870s (early Indian Wars period) United State Cavalry enlisted man uniform button. The button shows an eagle with a "C" upon its breast and reads EXTRA QUALITY on the reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1860s-1870s (early Indian Wars).
SIZE:Approximately 15/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
ATTACHMENT:Button loop.
MARKINGS:EXTRA QUALITY.
