14K Gold Norfolk & Western Railway (N&WRY) 40 Year Service Pin with Large Sapphire

This is a 14 karat gold 40 Years of Service pin given by Norfolk and Western Railway, a company existing from 1838-199The pin reads NORFOLK & WESTERN above a locomotive and reads VETERAN along the track. At bottom is a sapphire.

Circa 1930's.

5/8" diameter.

14 karat gold with blue enamel and sapphire.

Single screw post with disc backing.

Maker's mark (B below a Roman temple) and 14K.
