ARTIFACT: This is a 14 karat gold membership badge for the Daughters of the American Revolution society with various named ancestor bars. A banner at the top of the pin reads LUCY KNOX CHAPTER. The Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit women's organization for the descendants of people who made American independence from Britain a reality. From top to bottom, the individual bars read: CAPT. NOAH WORCESTER, JESSE WORCESTER, PAUL DEAN, EDWARD RUGGLES, HEPZEBATH BELL JOHNSTON, and MOSES TYLER. There is a name and number engraved upon the reverse of the medallion: Harriet Worcester Jordan 6810.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: 5" height and 1-3/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 14 karat gold with blue enamel pin with silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under "C" catch.

MARKINGS: HARRIET WORCESTER JORDAN 6810 and CALDWELL 9.22.91 PATENT on reverse of planchet.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Ribbon is somewhat worn but there is no discernible wear on the badge and only a light tarnish on reverse.
