14 Karat Gold United States Navy Son-in-Service Pin

This is a stunning United States Navy Son-in-Service pin in 14 karat gold, given to the bereaved family of a sailor. The pin depicts a banner with three blue stars and one gold star unfurling around an anchor. The single gold star signifies one service man killed in action. The gold content in this piece alone is worth $200.

Circa WWII.

7/8" length and 1-3/8" width.

14 karat gold with red, white and blue enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel catch.

14K mark on reverse.
