This is a World War II variant United States Marine Corps shoulder patch for the 2nd MAR. The patch shows a hand with talon-like fingers holding a torch with a small flame set against five white stars.
VINTAGE:World War II.
SIZE:3-7/8" height and 2-9/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Red fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
