ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II instructor badge for the Naval Training School (Pre-Radio) at the Theodore Herzl School in Chicago, Illinois. From April 1944 to December 1945, the former elementary and then junior college rose to the wartime effort by becoming a naval training school. The badge is by Parisian Novelty Company and belonged to William E. Tily, a math instructor.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 2-3/4" in width.

Celluloid, tin.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal safety pin.
