WWII USAAF Type A-2 Jacket Size 46 in Excellent Condition! <p> NO LONGER AVAILABLE

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Type A-2 jacket. The jacket is beautiful in hand! It is a size 46 and has an elasticized waistband and cuffs, two pockets and a rust-colored lining.

Circa World War II.

Size 4Jacket is approximately 25" (shoulder seam to cuff), 23" (armpit to armpit), 19-1/2" (across back shoulder to shoulder) and about 26" from base of collar to bottom of waistband.

Leather, cotton, wool webbing, brass.

Zipper with snap and eye hook, snaps on pockets.

TALON on zipper; TYPE A-2 DRAWING NO. 3S-35 (?) A.C. ORDER NO. W535AC29971 PROPERTY AIR FORCE U.S. ARMY on label; ARMY AIR FORCES with logo.

8+ (Excellent): The jacket has some discoloration and a small tear in the lining, a few small holes in the waistband, and some spots of wear and abrasion, most noticeably at the shoulders.
