ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II United States Army Air Force officer collar insignia by Luxenberg. The insignia is a winged propeller and the maker's mark is entirely readable without removing either of the catches.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 7/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold- and nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:
LUXENBERG NEW YORK.

7 (Very Fine): The insignia shows light wear and some tarnish, mostly on the blades; areas of oxidation on backings.
