WWII USAAF Headquarters Bordered Shoulder Patch on Wool Felt

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Headquarters shoulder patch. The patch is wool felt with a slightly lighter blue border and shows a winged star at center.

Circa World War II.

2-5/8" diameter.

Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
