WWII USAAF Flight Officer Rank Insignia by Balfour

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces gold-filled flight officer rank by Balfour. The rank is enameled in a rich cobalt blue and has a golden border that gives way to a solid horizontal stripe at center.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1" in height and 3/8" in width.

Gold-filled with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
