This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 55th Bomb Wing, 15th Air Force patch. The 55th belonged to the following bomb groups: 460th, 464th, 465th and 485th. The patch shows a B-24 Liberator flying across the path of a missile with five stars above and five stars below.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 5 in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Decal on leather.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
MARKINGS:None.
