ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 2nd Air Force "e;thick head/thick body"e; variant patch. The patch has been only lightly used and shows a golden eagle beneath a star.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
