ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 2nd Air Force "e;small head, fine embroidery"e; variant patch. The patch is unworn and shows a golden eagle beneath a star.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
