Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful World War II United States Army Air Forces blood chit printed in silk in the China-Burma-India theatre. The American flag sits prominently at the top of the chit and a friendly anti-Japanese-only message has been translated in seventeen languages below.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 16-1/2" in height and 10-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Printed silk.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The chit has some fraying along the edges and normal creasing from storage. There are a few small areas of minor discoloration, mostly on the top half of the chit.
