WWII USAAF 14th Air Force Patch 1-1/2 Elbow Variant Unworn

This is an unworn World War II United States Army Air Forces 14th Air Force shoulder patch in the "one and a half elbow" variant. The 14th Air Force replaced the China Air Task Force, which itself had earlier replaced the 1st American Volunteer Group (aka The Flying Tigers ). The patch shows a winged tiger and a white star with a red center.

Approximately 2-9/16" in diameter.

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

To be sewn onto uniform.
