Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 11th Air Force patch in the "dropped 11" variant. The patch is crest-shaped and shows a number 11 above a shooting star.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
