This is a United States Navy officer's cap from World War II. The cap is visored and has an insignia with an eagle with two crossed anchors and a decorated leather band spanning from one brass button to another.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:7-1/8.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Linen, cotton, wool, leather interior hatband and strap, plated brass insignia.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:7 1/8 and ART CAPS MILITARY HEADWEAR NEW YORK label.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Cap shows spots of discoloration especially on top and has a small nick on the visor.
