ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army and Navy manual entitled "A Pocket Guide to Australia". It deals with the culture and geography of the Commonwealth of Australia and has many cartoon illustrations to accompany the instructional text. We are also selling a copy of the same booklet with a message on the inside cover that the booklet is only for the use of military personnel; this booklet has a blank inside cover (no warning).

VINTAGE: Circa 1944 (World War II).

SIZE: 48 pages (plus three "Notes" pages); approximately 5-3/16" in height and 4-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: U.S GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE : 1944-O-583848.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army & Navy Manual collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. LAEX9/13 SAEX10/13

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The booklet is in excellent condition with some light wear to the cover.
