This is a shoulder patch for those members of the United States Army involved in building, policing and transporting supplies to China along the Ledo Road from India. The patch is triangular and shows a sun rising over a white road. The top of the patch has three white stars against a field of white and the entire patch has an olive drab border.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-1/2" height and 2-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEL96 LFJX 5/10
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Patch shows light wear but has a spot of discoloration.
