Olive Drab Bordered US Army 99th Infantry Battalion Shoulder Patch

This is a shoulder patch for the United States Army 99th Infantry Battalion, a unit made up wholly of Norwegians, Norwegian immigrants to the United States and first-generation Norwegian-Americans. The patch is a red, white and blue crest and shows a Viking ship at center with an olive drab border.

Circa World War II.

2-3/4" height and 2-3/8" width.

Fully-embroidered patch in cotton/silk threads.
