This is a World War II United States Army Glider Troops (paraglider) badge with a period applied battle star.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 11/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with plated brass star and pin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
