This is a World War II United States Fort Dix Fire Department patch. Fort Dix is in New Jersey, and served a training center before, during and after World War II. The patch is round in blue twill and shows a golden castle at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear, especially on the backing.
