Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army Hawaiian Department. The patch is in the royal colors of Hawaii, red and yellow, and is shaped like an octagon to represent the state's eight islands. The symbol at the center is a curvy letter H.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

The patch you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition.
