Description

ARTIFACT:

 This is a shoulder patch for the United States Army 80th Division, also known as "Blue Ridge". The patch is crest-shaped in olive drab with a white border and shows three blue mountains at center: this variation has dark blue mountains.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 2-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Patch shows light wear, mostly along edge.
