This is a theatre-made United States Army 508th Military Police Battalion distinctive insignia. The insignia shows a bear beneath a sunset and the battalion's motto: SINE PRAEJUDICIO (without prejudice).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-1/8" height and 15/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with blue and yellow enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
ITEM NOTES:This item has been rated a level III rarity by ASMIC (the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors). This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEL94 LIJX4/10
