ARTIFACT: This is a United States 15th Air Force Women's Army Corps grouping from Italy during World War II. The lot includes a bullion patch for the 15th Air Force, two fully-embroidered patches, a gondola pin, three black and white photographs, and a collection of period paperwork ranging from a 1945 Italian opera playbill, uniform regulations, a pass request, an Air Transport Command ID tag for Corporal Mary V. Nolan and a partially filled lined journal.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Sizes of items vary: bullion patch is 2-9/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper; pin is in plated brass; two patches are fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads and one patch is wool with bullion threads; photographs.

ATTACHMENT: Pin: horizontal kick pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS: (?) DEVELOPED FREE S. N. WOOD PHOTO FINISHER 46 CORNHILL -BOSTON and handwriting on back of one photograph.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Ebay VCEX10 LABJX9/10 SeABJX2/15

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Items are in various conditions but overall are very fine: bullion patch has seen heavy wear and has some areas where wool is missing and paperwork is somewhat yellowed and creased.
