ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Airways Communications System jacket patch. The patch shows an aircraft orbiting the globe with a lightning bolt in the atmosphere.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 4-15/16" h eight and 3-7/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): Patch shows light wear on front and heavier wear on reverse.
