This is a World War II variant patch for the United States 2nd Air Force. The patch shows a golden hawk or eagle beneath a star with a very pronounced eye.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-5/8" height and 2-7/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Patch shows moderate wear along edge and some slight discoloration.
