WWII Submarine Launch Tag for the USS Pampanito SS-383

This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Pampanito SS-383, launched July 12, 1943 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. Now an historic landmark in San Francisco, Pampanito earned six battle stars for her World War II service.

Circa 1943.

About 1-3/4 in width by about 2-1/8" in height.
