WWII Submarine Launch Tag for the USS Apogon SS-308

This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Apogon SS-308, launched on March 10, 1943 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. Apogon earned six battle stars for her World War II service and was sunk in 1946 as part of the Operation Crossroads atomic bomb testing.
