ARTIFACT: This is a South African Air Force enlisted man cap badge from World War II. The badge reads SAAF-SALM (SUID AFRIKAANSE LUG MAG) and has been polished.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX12 LFJX2/12

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The badge has been polished and there is a crack beneath the eagle's right wing. There is might oxidation on the reverse only.
