ARTIFACT:

This is a minty South African Air Force enlisted man's cap badge from World War II. The badge shows an eagle within a crowned wreath and reads SAAF S.A.L.M. (SUID AFRIKAANSE LUG MAG, Afrikaans for South African Air Force).

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-13/16" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Copper.

ATTACHMENT:

Two loops with cotter pin.

None.
