WWII Shoulder Patch for US 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) in Houndstooth Weave

This is a shoulder patch for the United States Marine Corps 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The patch has a houndstooth pattern and reads I and shows an eagle, globe and anchor.

Circa World War II.

3-5/16" height and 3-7/8" width.

Red fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
