This is a World War II Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm (FAA) enlisted air crew wing. The wing has an oval at center bearing an anchor, and is embroidered in red upon black wool.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 2-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in silk/cotton threads, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
