WWII Royal Canadian Air Force RCAF Jacket Patch in Silk on Wool

This is a World War II Royal Canadian Air Force jacket patch. The patch is in embroidered wool and silk, and reads PER ARDUA AD ASTRA: Through adversity to the stars.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 5-5/16" in height x 5-1/16" in width.

Wool, silk, cotton/silk embroidery thread, mesh backing.

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.
