ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Royal Canadian Air Force jacket patch. The patch is in embroidered wool and silk, and reads PER ARDUA AD ASTRA: Through adversity to the stars.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 5-5/16" in height x 5-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, silk, cotton/silk embroidery thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None.
