Description
This is a Royal Canadian Air Force flight engineer jacket and pants, both dated 194The uniform is made of a smart heathered blue wool, and the jacket has a lovely flight engineer wing on the chest, along with other patches and chevrons on both arms.
VINTAGE:Circa 1942.
SIZE:Jacket: size 38-40; pants: inseam 31-1/2".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Jacket: wool, twill/muslin lining, brass buttons, wool embroidered in silk/cotton threads (wing and patches); pants: wool, muslin lining, metal buttons.
ATTACHMENT:Jacket: buttons, belt with buckle; pants: button fly.
MARKINGS:Jacket: BI written on lining and RITCHIE, FARBER & CO. LIMITED TORONTO 1942 5'9 & 10 22 38-40 22; pants: SIZE 19 5 FT 7 8 W 35 L 31 ?? (?) & SONS LTD. 1942 with another hard-to-read stamp.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Both pieces are in wonderful condition with some light wear and slight discoloration in the jacket and pants linings. One jacket button missing (button is in pocket). The pants have little wear except some light wear to the extra buttons.
