ARTIFACT: WWII Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania women's volunteer organization badge: Memorial Gold Cross First Aid and Ambulance Corps which saw upwards of 2,000 members during the war. The round red, white, and blue enameled badge reads: "MEMORIAL GOLD CROSS FIRST AID AMBULANCE CORPS" and features a gilt brass cross in the center of the blue enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1" round

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in swivel catch.

MARKINGS: Three maker mark stamps on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII Homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX14 LAAEX4/15

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Pin shows minor wear, nearly all the gilt brass and enamel details remain intact.
