Description
This is a circa World War I Motor Corps of America cap badge. The Motor Corps started out as some women volunteering for automobile-related detail with the National League for Women's Service. When need heightened, they branched out to become a para-military ambulance corps based out of New York, run solely by women. This badge is an enameled crest flanked by two tires and a pair of wings.<
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:1-5/8" height and 3" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Lacquered brass with painted area.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
