This is a World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army Military District of Washington, a major Army command. The patch is oval and shows the Washington Monument with a sword on a diagonal to the structure at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
