This is a nice painted souvenir scarf or handkerchief for the United States Army Air Forces 380th Bomb Group, 5th Air Force, known as both the Flying Circus" and "King of the Heavies." The scarf reads Philippines 1945 and is protected inside a plastic frame. The 380th flew B-24s out of Australia.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 8" wide by 10" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk and air brushed stencil, plastic frame.
ATTACHMENT:None.
